In parallel with creating attractive commercially viable Offices and Co-Living accommodation the proposals add a qualitative new Urban Space to the Panorama District. Our “Blue sky” proposal elevates the pedestrian realm safely above vehicular traffic with the “A/B” plot Offices fully integrated with the footfall from Panorama and the wider city network.
The new “Pocket Park” will be a lively area for everyday relaxing and pop-up, commercial or cultural events; importantly, qualitative new landscaping will ‘soften’ and humanize the façade of Panorama. A “Skybridge” connects “A/B” buildings and the generous “Sky Gardens”, occupied with external meeting pods, resting, and viewing zones. Articulated with rounded geometry and set-back levels “A/B” buildings will be respectful neighbours to the adjacent residential area.
The Plot “C” building is created as two interlocking forms, an atrium occupying the shared common area giving a strong and attractive identity. Upper levels are set-back to carefully manage the urban scale. This campus of buildings and significant landscaping will deliver a positive contribution to the Panorama District and help express values of environmental responsibility and care for the cityscape.
